So I came across an interesting site called Heapr. Not exactly a name that’s easily remembered, but what this site could do amazed me and I wondered whether something like this will eventually gain traction to become popular. Seeing as it consolidates all your searching into one engine I can see how it’s useful, but at the same time not everyone wants to search that way. They have options to turn things off, but do we really want to be fiddling with settings whenever we want to search? Isn’t it more convenient to just search without all the settings and options? I would this so.
Regardless, here’s the site and I’m hoping this thing gets more attention. It’s really good – I like it particularly because it incorporates Wolfram-Alpha and Twitter. What are your thoughts? Any good? Worth adopting as a general search engine? What would you improve?
