This is an amazing & inspirational video. Thank you Angelo (@Rancorr) for sharing this video on Light Art Photography! It’s quite interesting how you can use landscape to paint yourself a picture and tell a different story every time using a flashlight! Of all things, a flashlight!
As I’m currently living in a big city (Toronto), it’s not exactly easy to do such techniques because of all the light pollution. However, I’m going to scout around and see if there’s any opportunity to try such a technique. I think maybe I’ll have to settle for what I can get in my backyard.
From my experience in landscape art (which is currently confined to my post-secondary education), these techniques take a lot of effort and planning. It’s not exactly something that you can just jump into and do. Like any “real” art, it takes time, patience, and tons of effort. This video is quite inspiring and hopefully one day I’ll have the opportunity to try this out. If you’ve done this before, what was your experience like? Share with everyone in the comments below!
